A "Mind/Body/Spirit Oceanic Adventure"
In
the Gulf of Mexico
Therapists Basia Szpak and Carol Lankton, and Midwife Marina Alzugaray invite you to participate in a "Mind/Body/Spirit Oceanic Adventure."
If you have dreamed of swimming where dolphins play, have a wish to explore your own fluidity, and want to bloom with enjoyment, this unique gathering is for you.
During April/May 2001 we will gather by the Gulf of Mexico to share with you our collective wisdom including watsu, waterbirth, aquanatal, interspecies communication, water baby yoga, personal empowerment, intimacy, story telling, dancing, drumming, snorkeling, hiking, and much more.
Basia Szpak DEC, LMT is a Certified Watsu Instructor, NCBTMB
Cat.A provider,
who specializes in aquatic training programs, therapy and Chinese
Internal
Arts. She completed Advanced CranioSacral Therapy and Pediatric
CST. Szpak
introduced Watsu to Japan and writes about early aquatic education
for infants in her book Fluid Beginnings. International Conference
presenter, she enhances energy work with the Internal Arts. Certified
Assistant Hsing I and PaKua instructor with NATSTA and registered
instructor with WABA.
Marina Alzugaray, MS CNM/CPM, has been involved in holistic
health care for the
last 25 years. She is one of the pioneers of Waterbirth in the USA
and is the developer of the American AquaNatal method. She was instrumental
in creating a friendhip with a wild pod of dolphins in the Gulf
of Mexico. Marina has experience with home, birth center and hospital
birthing. She is an internatioanl speaker known for her research
in second stage of labor, waterbirth, and women's moon rituals.
She is a dancer, drummer, and swimmer who serves as a bridge between
realities.
Carol Lankton, MA, LMFT, is a marriage and family therapist
for 28 years.
She specializes in hypnotherapy and therapeutic metaphor and teaches
Ericksonian approaches to problem solving for therapists worldwide.
She was one of the original
members of the "friends of the dolphins" with Marina and
experienced firsthand the transformation of anxiety to euphoria
in early close encounters with the amazing
dolphins of northwest Florida. Carol is the mother of two teenage
children who have taught her much of what she knows. She is a fan
of personal empowerment and likes to help herself, her children
and her clients direct the power of their own active intention to
set goals and use their abundant resources to accomplish all their
hearts desire. She
is coauthor with her husband of many chapters, articles, and several
professional books on this subject, most notably "The Answer
Within" and "Tales of Enchantment."

$285.00 in advance ($325.00 regular). Couples: $550.00 in advance only, otherwise adult regular rate apply. Children 8 years and up $125.00 per child. Advanced registration is one month before the date of the program. Family and group rates are available. |

The fee is for the program only.
Registration does not include meals, lodging, transportation, or
boats. You can bring your family and either camp or stay in a condo

American
AquaNatal Instructor Certification program will be also offered
from May 3-8 at Panama City Beach and will cost $435.00 in
advance ($465.00 regular).
